Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the Concordia Youth Theatre.  The details of our free workshops and auditions are below.  To guarantee your place please complete and submit the following form. 

Workshops

Wednesday 6th August                 7.30pm – 9.30pm
Wednesday 13th August               7.30pm – 9.30pm
Wednesday 20th August               7.30pm – 9.30pm

Auditions

Sunday 24th August                       10am – 3pm (latest)

We need to know Your Details, Any Relevant Medical Conditions, the Dates you will be attending and some Emergency Contact Details.

Workshop & Audition Dates I Will Be Attending

 

The workshops help to introduce the Youth Theatre to you so that you understand what we do and how we try to achieve it. They are your chance to see if you would enjoy being part of youth theatre and our chance to see you sing and perform in a more relaxed atmosphere.

They will be held in the Youth Theatre which is located behind the Box Office.  Parents are welcome to attend the first workshop for the first few minutes if required but we always try and make everyone welcome.

For the auditions we set male and female pieces, always a song and sometimes a dialogue.  We also set an ensemble audition piece (a choreographed chorus number with basic dancing, vocals and simple harmonies).  Dancing is not a required activity for joining CYT, we are more interested in how enthusiastic you are and how well you can take direction.

If you cannot make some of the workshops or audition don’t panic, we can probably fit you in at another time.  Please remember though, we only have limited places and generally the standard is high.
