The Dracular Spectacular

A spooky musical, with the book and lyrics written by John Gardiner and music by Andrew Parr.  Performed by the Concordia Youth Theatre performed in 1998.

When inexperienced school teacher Nadia Naive decides to take her pupils on an educational vacation to Transylvania they encounter an adventure beyond their wildest nightmares!

Dracula becomes very hot under the collar when he meets such innocence, and with help from his mother, and a mis-shapen manservant called Ghengis, he tries to lure Nadia to a fatal assignation deep in the bowels of his mysterious castle.

But fear not, help is at hand from Professor Nicholas Nechrophiliac, Father O'Stake and their posse of misfits from the local sanitorium, and the maiden will only lose her cool!

The laughs are maniacal, the songs catchy and hysterical, the characters diabolically zany; definitely the ingredients for a good night's entertainment.
