The Son of Sweeney A musical melodrama by Peter and Paddy Arris, with music and lyrics by Alan Breed and additional arrangements by Mark Shepherd and Alan Owens. This was a premiere for the Concordia Youth Theatre performed in 1997. The year is 1888, the setting London.  Twenty years have passed since the Demon Barber of Fleet Street ended his reign of TERROR, or did he?  A young man, Albert, now runs the barber shop and he is the Son of Sweeney...!
